If your bank account = ∞

Right now, you could have nearly anything on the planet, simply by swiping a piece of plastic (or the right combination of 16 numbers online).

A lot of my energy goes into figuring out how to make money not an obstacle in my life.

But the truth is, I’ve gotten pretty good at the money game.

And I know I’ll soon be entering a period of my life where it’s really not much of a thought. And to instead focus on the game of building companies & teams.

If money was infinite, candidly I’d probably still be doing what I’m doing today (work-wise).

So, how would my day change? Where would I invest more of my time & energy?

I think for me, the most rewarding activity comes from learning new things.

9 activities that have nothing to do with money that I could see myself spending the next 3 decades learning and trying to be really good at:

  1. Jiu Jitsu – Growing up wrestling, I first tried Jiu Jitsu in 2022 and I’ve quickly become obsessed with it. It’s one of the most humbling and truly rewarding sports that I’ve tried.

  2. Language Development – I’d love to learn a second language. Most likely Spanish. And use this as an excuse to visit more spanish speaking countries.

  3. Skiing – If I could get 20+ ski days in every year until my knees give out, that would make me so happy. Plus this is such a good excuse to get friends together.

  4. Skateboarding – Not tricks or anything like that. I just love to ride & recently bought a LandYachtz board to make that happen more.

  5. Writing – Whether it’s this blog or my journal. Writing for me is the only thing I know I can do that will get the junk out of my head and help me make sense out of everything.

  6. Podcasting – Podcasting for me is the easiest way to meet and talk with new people. Especially those who are the best in their field.

  7. Saxophone – Honestly, if you’ve ever seen a saxophone DJ set, you’ll know why. This just seems like way too much fun to not try.

  8. Fitness – Maybe a more generic answer but lifting 2-3x per week makes me feel incredible and I love seeing the results from years of work compound

  9. Cooking Meat – This probably means BBQ & sounds so bro-ey and douchey but everything from smoking briskets to preparing Wagyu sounds so fun for me. And I love the results.
